What is the name of your state? michigan

If the primary card holder files bancruptcy, does it also affect the secondary person who has been put on the card.

I think (and the pro's will correct me if I'm wrong) that it depends on whether the other person is simply an "authorized user" or if the other person is actually a co-signer. If the other person is a co-signer, definitely it will affect that person. Not sure about simply being an "authorized user."

An AU has NO liability for the debt, period. IF they have proof that she used the card, she MAY be held liable for those charges.. but certainly NOT the whole thing.

Also, your BK should NOT show up on her credit reports, if it does, she needs to dispute it with the credit bureaus.
