Is it true that after three months you can't be given a ticket?

My response:

You are correct. If a person fails to pick up their dry cleaning after three months with a ticket, the dry cleaner has the right not to give you another ticket.

Thanks for writing.

I mean can the Police issue you a ticket. I got into trouble 5 months ago. I never saw a judge or spoke to the police since April. Is there a limit to how long they can give you a ticket?

Who cares? Keep your nose clean and everything should be just fine. I'm curious why you're asking.
