What is the name of your state? TN

In a chapter 13 when does the minimum 36 months start...date of filing? meeting of creditors or confirmation date?

Mine started when I made my first payment. Which was soon after I filed. Your trustee can tell you.

I believe your firest payment is due prior the 341 meeting.

That would be month one, even if the payment plan you suggest is later altered or contested?

Your first payment on a Ch 13 is usually due 30 days after your filing date. I know this to be the case in TN. The TN CH 13 Trustee is a decent guy too.

thanks lnr**************.that is what i i was thinking. you are right about the trustee too. I am in nashville and he and his staff have been great in making a bad situation better.

With the pathetic homsetead exemptions in TN?

I wouldn't also expect the trustees in your state to be any more nasty then they have to be. Itd be akin to kicking a dog that's already half dead~
