What is the name of your state? Texas

Mother is behind on CS by almoat 8000. She has 2 other children, does not nor has never worked, and nothing is in her name. We notarized a letter saying she would start paying 120 a month for the childs insurance because the attorney general was not doing anything. Does this letter hold up in court? Is the attorney general ussually slow when it comes to moms instead of dads? Can they do anything since she chooses not to work?

A notarized letter will mean nothing in court.

Mom being behind in CS will not give dad a slam dunk case to move to NY and saddle her with transportation costs.

The OAG is slow for both genders.

Sorry , I do not want to mis interpit your response. But what do you mean by slam dunk case? Also, with both of them signing the letter it wont help her at all? Let me give you a little back ground on the letter....
*She owes 8000 since 2003-2007
*Oct 2007 they signed the letter that all past due will be forgotten if she made payments of 120 every month.
* 2009 she will make additional payments of 50 which will bring her payment up to 175 for the year.
* If she misses 3 payment she will then owe her back payment for insurance that she never paid which is about 5000.

The 8000 that she owes is insurance that she was suppose to pay from 2003-2006 (thats was her child support) then 2006-2007 there was a modification where some custody was taken away form her and 300 a month to the AG. Which brought everything up to 8000.
