What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MO

If you file for bankruptcy, can they take your money from a 401 (k)?

Most 401(k)'s are protected from bankruptcy. The only time they don't tend to be is when you have are a principal in a small business and they think you've dumped assets in the company 401(k) to elude the creditors.
