Hi,

Till a year back, I used to work in the US ... as a result i collected some money in my 401k account. Now i have gone back to my country. I want to withdraw all the money that i have in this account for buying an apartment. what is the procedure for withdrawing this money ? also, what documents will i need to submit for this ?

That's something you really need to ask the company that is managing the 401k account.

You will have to contact your former employer or the administrator of the plan for the procedure. There is not a one-size-fits-all answer.
