A friend of mine was recently convicted of a crime he did not commit. I know everyone proclaims there innocence but please listen to my story!! My friend was paroled in June of 1999, he served 14 years hard time and was ready to start his life over, the only thing is he chose the wrong town to start it in. We live in a small community where everybody knows everyone elses business. Anyway to the point, there was a burglary committed and in the process the owner of the home came back to find the intruder, the intruder punched her and knocked her out. she gave a description of the man to an FBI sketch artist, she stated that the man was 5'7 180 pounds with balding brown hair, my friend is 6'4, 304 pounds mind you, with a full head of blonde hair.This women stated on two seperate occassions that my friend was not the man who did it and even picked the sheriff out of a line up. It doesnt end there, the only evidence that lead the state police to my friend was an anonymous call made by my friends brother in which he stated that his brother had committed this crime. In return they granted his brother immunity for his testimony. later to find out that his brother was involved in the burglary. I have written another message that pertains to what happened next with his attorney showing up intoxicated at the jail please read this message also and help me in anyway you can!!! I just cant stand by and watch my friend go to prison for possibly the rest of his life for a crime he did not commit!!!
