What is the name of your state?CA.

2 weeks I've worked monday thru friday from 9am-5:30pm, I got saturday & sunday off. Last week I've worked monday & tuesday from 9-5:30, my boss told me to have a wednesday dayoff. Thursday, friday & saturday she wanted me to start from 12p-8:30p. and sunday I've worked from 9a-3:30p which is overtime. This week I've worked from monday thru wednesday 12p-8:30p and thursday & friday from 9a-5:30p, saturday & sunday off. And to continue on every week.
My question is:
1. Is changing schedule/time every week legal?
2. Isnt my wednesday on the 2nd week supposed to be 7th consecutive day of work and should be paid overtime instead of just regular rate?

THANKS

1.) Yes, they can legally change your shift every week if they want to.

2.) If I'm understanding you correctly, I would think so, but CA laws tend to be a bit confusing. Patty?

Thanks, Patty. California laws frequently are different from what I expect.
