If you are a salaried employee and you work a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off) is the following acceptable for the company to do.
If an employee needs to come in and work on his Friday off he looses that day off - he can not bank it and use it later even though he has put in all the required hours.
Employees working the 9/80 are expected to use their day off for doctor apts etc. while folks working the traditional 5 day a week schedule are given time off for doc apts etc.
Are their any legal guidelines around this because this double standard doesn't seem right?
