A BIG Thank you to all of you on Free Advice

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you with the great advice who helped me with the issues I posted. It is so wonderful to be given advice from people who have experience with family court as the process can be heart wrenchingly scary at times! I did have court today and got everything I asked for as far as increased visitation (almost 50%), no badmouthing other parents to kids etc... The judge and even her attorney saw through most of her lies. After my experience, I would advise everyone here to keep documentation on everything from phone calls to visits to receipts. It helped me tremendously. Now I just hope I can make peace with the other parent (as much as humanly possible anyway) and help my children deal with the current animosity that unfortunately they have been subjected to throughout this process. And yes Casa, we are seeing a family therapist who is helping us with that ...lol. Thank you so much.

Thanks to you especially Casa, I found your advice very helpful as you are in CA and have delt with a similar, even worse mess than me! Also, at your advice I did get a therapist for the kids and myself and even though the therapist never testified in court or anything like that, she is really helping my kids (and even me) with all the issues surrounding this type of mess. Anyway. I went to send you a private message telling you thank you especially but I can't figure out how to use it... so THANK YOU
