What is the name of your state? Iowa

A car drivng about 35 - 40 miles per hour hit my house and knocked the front porch off of it's brick foundation, moving it about 2 feet. I am worried about the damage to the basement wall. There is a large crack in the inside wall of the basement that was caused by stress of the brick breaking away from the foundation. Also, there is a large crack running down the outside wall on the side of the porch where she hit the porch. (Thank goodness for brick!) Will insurance cover the damage to the structure? There are cracks on the other walls that are caused by water damage, I am afraid that they will try to say that the cracks were already there. You can see where the stress of her hitting the brick away from the foundation went along the wall clear to the floor. I do not know about what kind of damage was caused to the outside basement wall. Know one will unless we move the dirt away.

Alsosheisa driver who had her license pulled, and she was driving on her thirty day grace period when she drove into the porch. (She will get a DWI for this one as well.) Will her car insurance cover the expense? Or will I have to get home owners insurance to cover it?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I am waiting for my insurance company to open up, so that I can report this. Thank you!

What did the driver's and your insurance company say when you contacted them?

Right. And by the way, there is no such thing as a 30 day grace period. I don't know where people get this stuff. If she does have insurance, it will pay up to the property damage limit that she paid for. If she does not have insurance, contact your homeowners insurance company.
