I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right area.. But here goes...
Ok On October 9th I sold My 8 year old son's Hotwheels
Computer... And the reason I sold it was b/c IN the 7
months I had it he had only beeon on it maybe 10 times if
that much.
So I sold It on ebay to this lady and It was shipped and
recieved by October 16th.. Ok Now On Xmas Night I get a
call from this lady telling me that She Just now set up
this computer and its not working well the computer isnt
recongizing the mouse or Keyboard. Now this computer
worked Fine The day I shipped it.. In fact I used the
computer that Day to uninstall a few extra programs that I
had installed on there and had no problem with either the
keyboard or the Mouse.
In my ad On Ebay .. I stated just what I said here.. that
the computer worked Great and It was used only a few times.
Now here is My Problem... This lady wants a Refund.. But
How am I to know that whatever the problem is that she
didnt cause it. I mean its been over 2 months since she
recieved it .. and If I am paying 600.00 dollars for
something Off the internet .. I am sure going to check it
out when I recieve it.. right??
So at the moment she is trying to get a claim with UPS on
the computer... I took 800.00 in insurance out on when I
shipped it.
So what I need to know is where do i stand Legally...
I never in my ad stated that I would guarantee is it or
offered a refund. I do feel bad for her if something is
wrong with it... But like I said she has had it for over 2
months and then tells me something is wrong with it...
I do stick to my ad that It worked Great .. I mean I am
a honest person and I would never sell something that didnt
work ... If I did I mean would I give my real name and
Phone number... anyhow I am at a lost at what to do..
any advice would really be helpful..
Thank you
angel
p.s. I would of included the ad But Ebay doesnt have it
up anymore.
