A computer program that I can't get rid of

I was on the internet and I went to a sight that had what looked to be a great utility program. It gave you a trial run in which I was sincerely interested in. After a couple of days I decided that the program was truly terrible. I went in and used their uninstaller and I thought that I had uninstalled it. Two days later I found some weird thing from their program. When I try to delete it, it makes some weird shortcut on my home page. I try to remove it and it won't give me that option. I never remember giving them permission to manipulate my computer in such a way that they can force solicitation and probably even spyware to be intentionally and permanently placed upon my program. I just got my program where I want it and now this. I have experience problems with my computer ever since and I am wondering if this stubborn program isn't the problem there too. Thanks for letting me vent about this. I think you guys got a great thing going.

This is the place to vent. The best thing to do is contact the corporate department of this computer company that made the program. If they don't help you, seriously consider hiring a lawyer to sue for the cost of the computer and much much more.
