I bought my Dodge Caliber in January of 07, I was 19 working part time at walmart and had been with my boyfriend for 3 months. I was told that because of my "baby credit" the only thing i would qualify for was a brand new car. When we started the financial paperwork and realized i didnt make much money the car salesman asked my boyfriend his income and added it to my numbers showing how it would be completely do-able and was a ligitimate trick that was used in sales all the time . I ended up walking out of there with a 7 year contract at 11 percent interest and 420 dollars a month. I realize now that i was suckered really really bad but is there honestly anything i can do about this? I want to keep my contract promise but frankly in these tough times i can barely make it on unemployment with these payments and im not sure what to do.

if there was actually anything illegal, you were complicit in the crime. I don't see that as helping you in any way.

I'm curious as to what your expecting? You purchased a car 3 years ago and entered into a contract and were of legal age to do so.

I see 3 options:
1) Sell it
2) Stop making payments and tell them they can pick it up.
3) Keep it and keep making the payments

I don't recommend #2.

If there was something you could do, there would be about 1m car buyers and 10m home buyers lined up right behind you.
