Pennsylvania. The empty lot next to my mom's property was recently sold to a builder who's survey revealed mom's fence was 3 feet over the property line. He didn't notify her until after the foundation was in, and then abruptly told her to move the fence. The fence has been there for 47 years, and was considered the property line by both my mom and the former owner. There are also trees, bushes, and a shed involved....what i'd like to know is, is there some sort of grandfather claim we can make, or any other option to keep the fence up? Mom (nor myself) can afford to have the fence moved, and she needs it to keep her dogs in the yard. By the way, the new house hasn't been sold yet, and the builder was kinda pushy, but may possibly leave the fence up for the time being. Thanks in advance for your answer and for this great service :)
