Im in Missouri, Cape Girardeau county
HI all,
I have a few questions. I am the defendent in a civil case . See "how to unshare a shared driveway" in this forum. The judge has ruled against us. I have not seen the final whatever its called from the judge yet. We are planning to appeal his decision. My attorney says its become final in 30 days. Here are the questions I have. Its cheaper to ask you guys than my attorney.
1. What are my options during the 30 days.
2. can the judge change his mind on his dicision? " My honey wrote him a letter"
3. Can we request a new trial with a jury? Does the judge have to grant us our request if we ask for a new trial with a jury?
4. Would media attention to our case help any? We thought about calling the local TV station with our story. The judge basically stole our land and gave it to our neighbor. To comply with the proposed judgement we have to park in the street and not in our driveway "can't block her access" even though the plaintiff has her own driveway and garage.
5. Just what are all of our options that are available to us.
Thanks in advance for any input
