A friend of mine told me he was sending me a package. He said that he was sending me some things i left in our shared baracks room in japan. He told me that he was in america on leave. He gave me the tracking number on the package. The package never arrived. I called the Delivery service to imquire about the package. They said that the package was confiscated by the police.

so now im scared. i have no idea what the hell he was trying to do. I have not heard from him since he told me about the package. Am i going to be arrested?
I am in florida. the package was sent to me from arizona.

thank you.

The only charge would be conspiracy to deliver whatever was in the package. For that, the cops have to prove you were expecting something illegal. Since you were expecting socks, you didn't conspire. Have a lawyer with you when you talk to police. You don't know what was in the package, so you don't know if you're in trouble (ivory) or real trouble (cocaine) or no trouble at all (greymarket walkman).
