What is the name of your state? Connecticut

Well I live in CT and I have a legal issue. Well for a long time I had been descriminated against in a very bad school but that is not what this is about. Well the administrative staff has been out to get me and they basically had me under a microscope. I had been searched 3 times in 4 weeks that I was in a school. Well I dont want to go into detail as to what happened, but the school seemed to think I was intoxicated which wasn't the first time. I had been sick and had been taking cold medicine ect. and it was a half day because it was right before Thanksgiving break. Well I figured I could get through the school day so I went. Well near the end of the day I was feeling really bad and a teacher brought me down to the office. The school nurse started "testing my soberness" as the school principle searched my bag like I can only describe as a pig who hadn't eatten for 10 days. My heartrate and pulse were up because I was nervous, sick, and just not in the best state of ability that I could be in. Well the principle found a knife and a jawbreaker (the candy) in my backpack and right away called the police. I might add that they found ABSOLUTLY NO DRUGS, PARIPHANALIA, BAGS, NEEDLES, MONEY, OR ANYTHING THAT LOOKED OR SMELLED LIKE IT COULD IN ANYWAY HAVE BEEN USED OF BE USED FOR CONTAINING OR USED FOR THE CONSUMPTION OF ANY ILLEGAL ITEMS. I had no idea the knife was in there due to a move where I had used backpacks for ( I guess I had left it in there and didn't know about it). Well I got arrested and was suspended for 10 days and had an expultion hearing. Now heres the real issue. I had gotten advice that if I withdrew myself from the school before the expultion hearing that I could not be expelled and that they could not put it on my record. So my parents went into school because I couldn't and withdrew me and made them take a copy of the withdraw paper with the date and time which was before I was expelled. Well somehow after that the school still expelled me EVEN THOUGH i WASN'T ENROLLED IN THERE SCHOOL, AND PUT IT ON MY RECORD. I was told that the only thing they could do was make a suggestion to that if I ever reenrolled in that school (which I have no plan on doing), that they could then expell me. So now I can't go to any school in the state and it is on my record. So my question is could they legally do that or do I have a case where I could get that repealed or have the school sued? What is the name of your state?

I think this is a fair statement of the facts.

So...the answer is yes, they had a case.
