What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia

I have a quick question did I screw up?

I had my Prop Mgr (at that time) sign on my lease that I gave him my Sec Dep in cash. I did not have enough to give him for a Pet Dep at that time, so I gave it to him 2 wks later. He signed on MY copy of the lease. But there has been 3 other Prop Mgr with in 1 yr of me living there. Now I saw a copy of the other lease that the current Registered Agent had-it did NOT have a signature where the Pet Deposit was given on his copy. The firing of the guy that I had orginally rented from was forced out(the complex has different owners for every bldg at the complex and each one had its own Prop Mgr). They went to just one for the whole complex.

I tried to find my original lease where he signed-but I had made a few copies and had one kept in a fire deposit box, one in a strong box and then another just in my desk in the apt. I was broken into and I only can only find one copy and that is one that is a copy.
Am I screwed because I only have copies of his signature and a date and the amount is there?

I am trying to get my Sec Dep back since they have not done what is ordered by our state via state reg. I have followed everything to the T. I paid on time every month.

BTW-The 1st PM actually is the one who told me that if they do not give you back your dep by 30 days with a spelled out reason why they have not given it all back to you or with a list of damages then I can get them for 3 times the amount. Here it is July and nothing yet-but this is a huge question as well as th Pet Dep question earlier. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
