What is the name of your state? New York.

Hi, we applied for a trademark a couple of years ago that we abandoned. Can we apply again for the same trademark?

Thanks.

Leo

----- Can I use 2 trademarks for same product? I am already allowed to use a trademark, ellenrad. But we are using a current name for the product we are selling, ellenray, this is the application that was abandoned. Now, we also want to apply for ellenray. Is there any implication if we have 2 trademarks for same product?

Yes, assuming that nobody else has started using the name in the meantime, or that nobody else has filed for a trademark using the name.

You will need to start completely over. You cannot claim priority from the earlier application. It's as if the first application was never made.
