Hi if I was owed a small amount (under $5,000) by a company that was abandoned by it's management almost 8 years ago, what rights do I have as a creditor to hold a cerditors meeting/vote or convert my debt into equity or something that will allow me to appoint a new managemnt team and try to save this company and my lost money. The former owner moved out of the country in 1998.
