What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA. Hi. A vehicle belonging to a guy that my son knows has a blown up motor and has been in my driveway for over a year. I have ask several times for Him to move it but no results. It's probably been 3 months since I last spoke with him. He has no intention of getting it. What can I do to take ownership in order to sell to junk yard.

It doesn't look like you can, at least not easily.

What you may want to do is place a lien vehicle for storage costs and have the vehicle towed and let them auction it.

Put up a sign that says "NO PARKING - VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE". Wait a while, then find out from the police what you have to do to get the car towed.

Motivate your son to either pony up for towing the car or get his friend to do so.

Remind him how much he's disrespecting you by letting his friend use your land as a junkyard when you were doing them a favor.
