My husband lives in TN and got arrested. He was on parole out of va. He seen his parole officer every 3 months he never missed a appt. He was living with his mother while on parole. In October 2017 TN ask va to issue a absconded warrant for his arrest.. They did... In Nov he checked in like always nothing was said to him bout the warrent he then returned in Feb and they told him he was no longer on parole through TN he thought he was off.... Got a arrested and now beIN held for evtradition should he fight it or leave it alone and wait....

HE should discuss this with his attorney and YOU should not be posting his criminal issues on the internet.

Your husband will want to speak to an attorney, in either Tennessee where he is currently being held, or in Virginia where he will be sent sometime within the next 30 days (unless Virginia asks for an extension on the 30 days to pick him up for transport). It could be smart for your husband to contact the same lawyer he had in Virginia for his original conviction.

Whatever the reason for the issuance of the Virginia warrant, your husband could be returned to prison for violating the terms of his parole so he really needs to have a lawyer assisting him. The sooner, the better.
