My 14 year old daughter attends a small private school. Some rather profane remarks were written on a message board about two other girls. My daughter and her friend have been blamed for that and sending tell-tale notes to parents. They did neither. One of the girl's fathers is an ex-law enforcement agent, now elected official, and instructed these girls to collect fingerprints from my daughter and her friend to run against the prints on the notes and the marker used to write the profane remarks. Is this legal? He's threatening to take his alleged "proof" to the school board and have my daugher and friend expelled if he finds their fingerprints on any of this material which is school-wide used property.
I know this is silly, but if this guy goes through with this, I need something legal to come back with. Please help.
