My wife has been abusive to me for years. She took my son out of state six years ago. I followed her because I missed him. We reconciled and I am still staying with her. She smokes around my son and now he has asthma. She has been unfaithful to me and now I found out she is using speed. I have been working six days per week, ten hours per day, so she has gotten away with this for years. I did not want to believe this for so long, but now I can't take it anymore and I'm very worried about my son. She won't get any help. What can I do?

Her smoking did not cause his asthma, however, it will exacerbate the condition.

Go get an attorney! Between now and the time the divorce is final and until the custody battle is over document, document, and document. Was her abuse physical? Get police records! I am curious though as to why you went back to her after she was so abusive to you? Video tape everything and tape record everything. If she is standing there yelling at you get it on tape.
Good Luck to You

I think in your case you can get what my ex got against me although he lied to get it (I'm telling you to lie) he did out of spite, but you can get a temporary protective order against her it will remove her from the home and if if you add in the order that she is a threat to your child she will be unable to be around the child as well you will have to go to the judge to get it signed and she will be removed from your home they will just have her leave she won't be arrested or any thing unless she violates the order, in the state of Utah the order is good for 150 days trust me I'm counting down the days until mine is no good. I wish you luck
