The association governing the condo that I rent from a private owner recently installed a movable handicap ramp that exits into my assigned parking space. Condo regulations give me EXCLUSIVE (their word) rights to this space. When my daughter was pulling her car into this space she was surprised by the ramp and accidently scraped a post holding up the carport while trying to avoid it. The post is fine; the car has over $1200 damage, with a $500 deductible. My question is, can the condo association be held responsible for the deductible or is my daughter responsible, even though I did not give permission to for this ramp?
