my wife works at mcdonalds as manager, mcdonalds had her run errands in her personal car while on the clock such as making a bank deposit and picking up parts at hardware store while doing this she had a auto accident, she was not injuried but her car has $3000 damage with a $500 deductable . mcdonalds refuses to pay her for the last 4 hours of her shift, and have not offer to help with deductable, now she is without a car for a week or so. this day at work cost her alot of money more than she would make in two weeks. is mcdonalds liable for any of this? please help.i live in ohio.

She is entitled to get paid for the hours worked without deduction. The company should not be liable as long as her insurance pays for everthing. Find out the policy of using ones' person vehicle for company errands. Does she get some expenses paid for such as gas, insurance etc.? Does she get mileage? File a McSuit if she had some hot coffee spilled during the accident. Sounds like the company is indeed one chicken nugget short of a happy meal.
