What is the name of your state? Illinois
In the process of ordering new checks for my business account I was told IL law requires the date the account was opened to be printed on each check. I have never done this and I don't see it on any of the fifteen checks I just received from customers. I thought it was a requirment in Illinois for only the first year of the account. Can anyone comment on what the law actually says? Thanks.

Ask the bank to give you the statute number for this law.

Then post it here.
