What is the name of your state? La

I am an LPN and I am in nursing school to transition to RN. I am in my final days of this semester with one more semester before I graduate. Recently an instructor provided an online exam to replace our lowest test score. My classes are via satellite. The instructor that placed the exam is 2 1/2 hours away from me. I received an email stating that I need to meet with the dean of nursing due to suspicions. I was told by another faculty member that because I made a 96% on 47 questions and in 16 minutes that they believe I had the answers from another classmate. I am historicaly a fast test taker. I also took the exam at home, by myself, late at night. Without proof and only on suspicions can I be expelled? It's basically my word against theirs. I'm not sure of my rights.

i did not have the answers. majority of the questions were repeat from the previous exams. i was able to recall many answers. i also studied my butt off. i took off an entire day to study and when i felt comfortable, i took the test. i have proof from taking a proctored online test that i answered 75 questions in 39 minutes, and i passed that exam. those were questions i had seen for the first time. for the replacement test we were given a studyguide with topics and specifics.

CAN you?? Of course you can. Will you?? No one can answer that.

Then read your 'Student Handbook' or whatever your 'school' calls it to see the process for expulsion.
