while babsitting for a little girl and an older boy, the older boys grandmother claims to have seen my husband abuse the little girl. This supposedly happened in the afternoon then six hours later the little girls mom shows up saying the grandmother of the boy called her and told her my husband was smacking her hands.. which he wasn't. 10 days later we get a call that we need to go to the police station. we go and the police say they have photos of the child with bruised on her bottom, arms, and a mark on her neck. nothing on her hands, so the grandmother changes her story saying he was spanking her on the bottom and holding her by the arm. the mother doesn't call the police the ( one of three) sitters calls. And accuses my husband of doing this. They want him to take a poygraph test. He is nervous. We have never been in trouble before. We have three kids of our own. I was only trying to do her a favor babysitting for her on a saturday. I work full time and the deputy even called my boss to tell her about the accusations. We are so upset. Do we turn down the polygraph and get a lawyer?? does he take it without an attorney? the grandma had been drinking when she came. We think she was trying to cover for that fact. and her story changed... and the cop tried to get him to confess???? help!!!

Get your own thread and get off this one.

Do not take the polygraph. Do not talk to police anymore. Hire an attorney and let him deal with police.
