What is the name of your state? michigan

my step daughter has accused my husband and myself of obtaining and useing a credit card in her name. it's supposed to have $10-15,000. this is such a shock. we also just received a ppo against stalking domestic and non domestic for her and our grandson. we would never think of hurting either one of them. we have never been involved in any thing like this, my health is very bad and i cannot deal with this what do we do?

has she provided you any proof of this credit card? there is more going on than you posted if she has also obtained a restraining order for her and her son.

I honestly don't know why

I don't even know how to explain. She's accused a lot of people of a lot of things to get what she wants. Last year I was watching my grandson while she worked. I had been getting very sick, found out I had esophageal cancer. I told her I couldn't babysit anymore. I had a 8 hour surgery ahead of me that most people don't live through. She got mad and didn't come to see me again until she needed money months later. last I saw her was about two months ago, she dropped by to pick up a shelf and I gave her a bunch of clothes that I had bought my grandson. didn't even know where she lived until a state cop showed up here last week saying she was accusing us of this.

Absolutely Not! The state police officer told me what she said was she applied for credit was denied and is now accusing us. She did this about five years ago I talked to the credit card company and they dropped everything. He also told me that she said she was getting credit card applications in the mail with my name but her address. I asked him if that made any sense and he said no,and I don't understand why my mail would go to her address. by the way none of these letters have come back to me.
