What is the name of your state... Michigan
Back story-
In Dec 2010 my wife got a ticket for tumultuous conduct (along with our neighbor, they were being to loud)...the prosecutor offered to dismiss it if she had no criminal involvement in the next 6 months (ACOD?). He said that as long as she didn't do anything criminal it would just fall off her record.

Present day-
Last Friday my wife was arrested on a failure to appear warrant in regards to the tumultuous conduct charge, for supposedly missing a hearing? The bail was set at $10,000 (which seemed extremely excessive), so we were forced to pay a bailbonds $1,000...otherwise she would have spent the entire weekend in jail. I have no idea what to do. I feel like my wife was wrongfully put in jail (traumatizing my 7 year old who was in the car with her and causing her to miss work), not to mention we're out $1,000. My wife has never been in any legal trouble.

We have documentation for the pre-trial settlement stating "Adjourn for six months. If defendant has no criminal involvement in the next six months, case will be dismissed". She did nothing criminal within this time? Also on the document scribbled next to the "plea in this case to" box (which is unchecked) says "6-9-2011 @ 1:30" (which was the court date she missed). There is no specific place that says she had a hearing on this date and we never recieved anything in the mail (I figured the date next to the plea to box was just when her 6 months were up).

Our neighbor that was charged with the exact same thing along w/ my wife, had been giving a ACOD by the prosecutor as well. She never had to attend any hearings afterwards, it just dropped off her record. Something doesn't seem right in all of this... Please help!
