IF you can politely grovel for redemption of job I'd sure try it...reads like your supervisor is partially empathetic ...but bottom line employer is entitled to insist on zero tolerance as to being on duty at required times ...and in the past you were far from even being close .....expect if redemption exists that you deliver 100% on time short of an earthquake next door.

You do not qualify for any legal protections , others have addressed that .

There is another issue that may well give you problems with being approved for UI. The fact that you must be home to care for your husband may well be considered not available for and able to accept full time work. As I mentioned before good home based jobs are rare.
