What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Kentucky
I have paid the taxes on the property adjoining mine for the past 19 years. I have planted the woodlands with medicinal herbs which I have sold in the past. Cleaned the property of old junk vehicles. It is tied up in heirs. It has not been lived on and no one has done anything to the property except me since the 70's. I hold gatherings on the property and use the property for camping during the events. I want to clain the property legally and build a house. Can I clain this property. It was my great grandmother's property and she passed in the 70's leaving no will. She had one child who had 11 children in the 20's and 30's. My mother was one of the 11 children. My mother has passed and most of the siblings are in 80's.
I have done nothing legally. I did put up a gate to stop access to property when I am gone. I stop hunters and I have stopped an uncle from logging it. I had him leave with his dozers.
