Advice Needed ASAP!

I was mislead by the courts and my lawyer as to when my first divorce would be final in California. So when I remarried a second time Reno NV I was still married by 10 days. I know that this voids the second marriage or at least I am assuming that. Now my second wife wants a divorce but is refusing to file the necessary paper work. We currently live in Ohio. What do I have to do to insure that we legally not married. Do I have to file for divorce? An annulment? Or because the marriage was not legal in the first place do we have to file anything?

Did you try to contact the lawyer that handled your divorce and see why you didn't receive a copy of the final dissolution? Instead of waiting for a reply on here, pick up the phone book look for a lawyer and call. Simply tell the secretary your question,is the 2nd marriage valid,etc. and she can either answer you or have the lawyer return your call. That simple question will not require you to pay anything and most times the secretary knows the answer and most are really nice.
