What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MI

I am at a loss of what i should do, I had a garnishment ordered in 2/17, they started garnishing my wages beginning of 3/17.

The problem i am face is this month i received a letter from the debt collector stating i owed more money that what was on the writ.
They added a little over 17% on top of what the writ states i owed for unsatisfied judgement (including interest and court costs).

I have also looked over and read every single inch of the writ to see if they put in something that would say they could charge more interest

I received no other letters than the writ and the typed letter from the debt collecting agency.

I am not sure what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The ongoing cost to enforce a judgment are added to the amount of the original judgment. That includes post judgment interest, administrative costs, court fees for filing and serving the garnishment papers, and lawyer fees.

All perfectly legal.

And all will continue to grow until you pay off the judgment.

This could amount to many thousands of dollars.

You might want to consider bankruptcy.
