What is the name of your state? VA
Long story short, VA is collecting child support/arrears from instructions from NC. I do not owe arrears, VA is collecting arrears based on an affidavit filled out by my ex and notarized. There is no arrearage order signed by a judge or otherwise. VA is refusing to stop the arrears collection, what court should I go through to have them halt their actions. They are also reporting arrears to credit bureau without having an arrearage order.

Thanks!

My suggestion is that if you do not owe the money, you need a real good atty to try and fix this.

Did you make your [payments through CSE. If so, obtain records of your payments, send them a letter advising there is no arrearage, here are the records and please advise WHICH payments you supposedly did not make.
