hello i have the police reports and charges but the case numbers are different
04351052 and y40351052 two numbers have been and a letter added switched does anybody know why. also i was going to plead guilty but after reading the police reports i think i could win it. the two officers have different takes on what happened. could someone give me a little advice thanks daniel l. the charge is "malicious michief 3"

Looks like a typo to me.

The reports can be used to rebut testimony they might make in court, but by itself the conflicts in the report are not likely to be compelling enough for a DA to drop the matter.

These are administrative errors; they have nothing to do with your guilt or innocence.
