Q: How can i back out of this lawsuit without owing my attorneys money?

A: Pay them and then you will not owe them.

Contingency fee case?

If your goal is to drop the suit, and then re-file it or settle with the opposing party out of court, your attorneys are still entitled to their percentage.

If you just want to drop it, and not refile, then you typically would not owe your attorneys anything, unless there is a provision in your fee agreement covering that eventuality.
