i live in north carolina and i would like some advise. my ex is not paying his child support like he should. we have to go to court every month.i have tryed to have his wages garnished but will quit his job before we go to court s he does not have any info to give to the court. what can i do.

Have them hold his a-- in contempt of court and throw him in jail.......maybe he'll learn his lesson.....!!

I live in NC too and have ? 4 u. Is there a court order and are you going thru CSE? I suppose you are. If it's yes to both, I don't think there is much you can do except let them handle it. If it's no, then go to CSE and get the order. They take anyone. They will do their best to get something from him. In this state if they can look at past jobs they will base the support on that. If not they will base it on minimum wage. However, if you make $800 or less a month (him) the NCP, then the order can't be for more than $50 a month. If he doesn't pay they will also garnish his wages and put liens on any property he owes, if any, like cars, land, ect. They will also take all his taxes. Hope this helps.
