I have been accused of having an extramarital affair. I too am married. The accusation is that I took advantage of this persons depression. I was never told about this persons depression. This person seemed very normal, worked full time, drives a car. I have not had contact with this person in over a year, then I get a call from this persons spouse saying I took advantage of this persons depression. He says he is going to sue. this happened this week. Is this possible? What kind of criminal accusation can come out of this? What is needed to prove this took place, meaning the affair? My word against this persons? Email? Phone Calls? etc... I would appreciate any advice

This is a vey difficult question. but courts are starting to make this a civil liability...remember the woman who was ordered to pay $1 million for her adulterous relationship with a married man?

you should look up a good marital attorney/family law attorney who deals in such issues in attorneypages.com
