What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Minnesota
I wrote an affidavit for a friend for her child custody trial. In the notarized affidavit, I wrote some true statements that were negative towards the father (the ex). He is claiming Defamation of Character and seems to think he can sue me. Can he?

Yes, he can sue you. But as long as you can prove your statements were true, it is unlikely that he will win.
