What is the name of your state? CA

I declared bankruptcy in Nov 2002 in the state of TX (if that makes a difference) it was discharged in Mar 2003. I now reside in CA. I have been monitoring my credit and find that many of the creditors have reported incorrectly. Many report that the debt is still outstanding and just show it as unpaid for however many hundreds of days; and others show that I am still "in bankruptcy" as recent as last month. Can these creditors continue to report that I am not paying when the bankruptcy was discharged over a year ago? I understand that they can report the bankruptcy, but the way this is going it shows that I owe x amount of dollars of which I only owe a tiny fraction. So of course it shows that my credit is 99% used. I am not looking to get any credit at this time but my credit score is actually dropping despite the fact that the accounts that I do have are current and in excellent standing. I sure hope that someone can give me some good advice on how to handle this, of course if they can do it then guess not much I can do.
Thank you for your time.

We are in Oregon and had the same problem. We called the credit bureau's and told them, they fixed it for us. That's where I'd start.

Dispute, dispute, dispute !! You MUST engage in post-discharge credit repair if you want to rebuild. Creditors will misreport for many reason, some, like FUSA, will do so deliberately to sabotage your fresh start. Others its simply poor handling of things. Dispute EVERY incorrect entry with the 3 bureaus, you can do some online, but a letter, sent certified, RRR, is better - it gives you a paper trail should you run into resistance from a creditor or a CRA.
