Age 16 and 18 having sex

I am born in November 1999 (18) and my girlfriend was born june 2002 (16). I have a few people threatening to send me to jail for us having sex, am i safe from that? I live in oklahoma and the age of consent is 16 but I'm still scared of what could happen

IF the age of consent in OK really is 16 then no, you cannot be sent to jail if the two of you are having sex. However, if her parents tell you that you and she cannot see each other then you can eventually be sent to jail if you to not obey that and stay away from her. They are in charge of her life until she turns 18.

Who is a "few people"?

If those "few people" include her parents and relatives you very well may find yourself in legal trouble. How'd everybody find out you guys were having sex? incidentally, STOP IT.

Consent is allowed at 16 in OK .....but her parents may be able to control about 98% of what she does until 18.... She might be be wise to cool it until 18!

Did you happen to videotape your sex, or distribute/publish photographs of your young partner?

Or are you and your young girlfriend simply talking to others about your sexual relationship?

There is a big difference in these and what can result legally from your sexual relationship with a 16 year old.
