Hello - thanks for taking a minute to read my plight. I live and work in New York City. Back in January I was a little boozy and called a woman (old family friend) on the phone. I really don't remember the conversation, but I said a few sexual things to her. A few minutes I called back. 2 calls. I have been arrested and charged w/Agg Harrassment, 2nd degree. I've NEVER been in trouble with the law in my life. I'm an upstanding citizen, have a decent job, loving family, etc. I have made a statement (I had to go answer the charge at the precinct) that said the truth - I don't remember the calls, I'm very sorry for the calls, I certainly meant no harm, etc. I now have to go to court, before a judge and see what happens. That's my question - I don't know what to expect - I'm trying not to hire a lawyer - I don't want family or friends to find out about this incident, I just want it to go away. Can I expect a fine? Probation? Is it possible I might go to JAIL? PLEASE let me know what to expect. I'm a wreck about this and my court date is coming up in a week.

Thank you for any advice you can offer.
