I was convicted of manufactering methamphetamine in the western district of Texas. Now the department of transportation is trying to take my Airframe and Powerplant License away from me. Can they do that to me? or is there some legal action i can take for this matter.

As a licensed A&P mechanic, I am subject to random drug testing and and being arrested for drug charges, not convicted is enough to lose my license. As someone who flys in airplanes on an occasion and for all the millions that fly everyday, I am glad the DOT is taking action. Too bad, too sad.......
