Had many plumming problems for example feces and urine coming up through bathtub and around bottom of toilet. Landlord refused to fix said it was due to a clogged drain and he would not fix. HMMMM drain and sewer line I belive are two different things. He is now taking us to small claims court....please help....

why is he taking you to court

he says that there was animal feces and urine stains on the carpets, but i video taped the house after i moved out. He refused to keep the house in habitabal form so there for he was in violation of our agreement..landlord/tenant...i then moved out without notifying him...he contacted me at work and i told him why..he agreed it was wrong but refused to apologize....????????? i had not signed a lease agreement for almost a year..he also stated that it was to be an outside dog but on many occasions he witnessed the dog and some cats in the house....if this was a violation of our agreement...why did he let this go on without even a warning???????only had one cat..........lease does not mention a cat???he also says that he repaired the carpet..i went back to the house it is still the same carpet..this should be very interesting...purgery at its finest!!!!!!!!(go figure i work in law enforcement)
