I am currently trying to negotiate relief in my alimony obligations. This has been going on for three months. We are currently trying to do this just using our lawyers and keeping it out of court.

I just found out my girlfriend is pregnant with my child. How might this affect things from a legal standpoint?

LOL Dude - you knew your obligation prior to getting cozy with your g/f. Sorry. It's not gonna lower your payment.

I wonder if the wife knows about the pregnant girlfriend......

Why would it be any of her business? Presumably since he's already divorced since he's talking about 'relief' of payments.

I doubt the recipient is interested in negotiations about this.

The alimony is court ordered. If not, you are stupid to be paying.

You can expect to be legally responsible to pay for that child.
