What is the name of your state? New Jersey. Can anyone tell me if there is guidelines as far as receiving alimony money, as such if the husband makes a certain amount, does the wife get a certain amount, or does it just go by what a judge awards

Come back with some SPECIFIC facts or ask your tarot card reader.

Dissomaster

A formula is worked out on a dissomaster that factors incomes and needs of each party. It is not at the whim of a judge. You can settle your case without having to go to trial this way, so a judge isn't necessary. A good lawyer is! Try to settle, as court costs are expensive.
