what would be considered an "ILLEGAL element or CLAUSE"
i mean some may say this is unfair, she's only getting $2,000! But, she signed it, was aware of what was CLEARLY stated, and there were three witnesses! But does the fact that she's not even getting 2% of my assets/property, matter? What if they bring in the fact that it isn't fair? would that be considered illegal or unfair? and waht about the fact that this was signed in aforeign country that we haven't resided in for nearly 10 years? wouldn't california community law apply to us because of our residency, regarless of the fact that we had a prenuptual agreement? wouldn't that pre=nup be considered VOID since we no longer reside there? I asked my attorney about this, and he said it would be "COSTLY" and "UNeffective" because you'd have to bring in professionals from the country of Pakistan to explain the prenuptual agreement, and she might claim that she was too young and wasn't aware of all the assets and money i would acquire throughout the course of my marriage, but she was OLD enough to understand and read what was stated. AND she was old enough to get married and sign the certificate, and there's no legal age to get married in Pakistan. Would this be a GOOD DEFENSE, or just a waste of money and time? please Help!
